TETRA'S HISTORY
Tetra Mold & Tool Inc. was founded by Mr. and Mrs. Ronald L. Hughes in 1968 with
the intention of becoming a driving force in the plastics industry. The management and
production staff are still committed to this goal today. Tetra enjoys the enviable reputation
as a supplier to many leading industries in the aerospace, agriculture, automotive,
defense/arms, electronics, energy, medical/healthcare, petroleum and more. We
currently supply a wide range of both standard injection and insert molded products
from concept to finished products.
TETRA TODAY
Along with the main production and tool making facilities, a warehouse is maintained for
the storage of customer products and manufacturing dies. Tetra Mold & Tool is ready to
utilize its wealth of experience and technical expertise to service the growing market for
injection mold tooling and products. Tetra will eagerly respond to inquiries with the
hope of meeting all customer expectations for quality, delivery and service.
In July of 2000, Tetra Mold & Tool Inc. achieved certification to the ISO 9002
and QS-9000 U.S. automotive standards. Later the company upgraded its management
system to achieve ISO/TS 16949 compliance and certification. Using a systems approach,
the organization has achieved numerous improvements in efficiency and quality assurance.
The 3rd Edition of the management system has been modified to comply with the applicable
requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016
